About this game
A single-player sliding puzzle on a 4×4 grid. Every move slides all tiles one direction; equal tiles that collide merge into one tile of double the value and add to your score, then a new 2 or 4 appears. Reach 2048 to win — then chase a higher best score. Your best score is saved locally.
Strategy
Two 2 tiles that touch merge into a 4; two 4s make an 8, and so on to 2048. The winning habit: keep your biggest tile pinned in one corner and build a descending staircase toward it, mostly sliding in just two directions so the board never clogs.
How to play
- 1Use the arrow keys (or swipe on touch) to slide all tiles one way.
- 2When two tiles with the same number touch, they merge into one.
- 3A new tile appears after every move — plan so you don't fill the board.
