History

Your calculations will appear here. Tap one to reuse its result.

Runs entirely in your browser — nothing you enter is uploaded or sent to a server.

A general-purpose calculator that follows standard order of operations — still, sanity-check the result for anything important, since a stray bracket or operator quietly changes the answer. Read our full disclaimer.

About this tool

A general-purpose calculator that works the way you'd expect: type a whole expression like 2 + 3 × 4 and it respects order of operations (giving 14, not 20). Switch to Scientific mode for trigonometry, logarithms, powers, roots, factorials, and constants (π, e). It keeps a history of your calculations and supports full keyboard entry.

Try it

Type 2 + 3 × 4 and press = → 14 (multiplication first). In Scientific mode, sin(30) in DEG mode gives 0.5, and 5! gives 120.

How to use

  1. 1Type or tap an expression — use ( ) for grouping and ^ for powers.
  2. 2Watch the live result update as you type; press = to commit it to history.
  3. 3Switch to Scientific for trig, log/ln, √, x^y, ! and constants; toggle DEG/RAD as needed.
  4. 4Use MS/MR/M+/M−/MC to store and recall a value, and tap any history row to reuse it.

Features

  • Correct order of operations with parentheses — not left-to-right guessing.
  • Basic and scientific modes: trig (with inverse), log/ln, powers, roots, factorial, π and e.
  • Full keyboard support, plus memory keys (MC / MR / M+ / M− / MS).
  • History that stays on your device — tap any entry to reuse it.
  • Switch between degrees and radians; copy the result in one click.

Frequently asked questions

Does it follow order of operations (BODMAS/PEMDAS)?

Yes. It evaluates the whole expression correctly, so 2 + 3 × 4 gives 14, and you can use parentheses to group as needed.

Is my data or history sent anywhere?

No. All calculations run in your browser, and your history is saved only in your browser's local storage. You can clear it any time.

How do I use the scientific functions?

Switch to Scientific mode. Functions like sin, cos, log and √ insert into the expression, and the DEG/RAD toggle controls how angles are read.

Can I use my keyboard?

Yes. Digits, + − × ÷, ^, parentheses, %, and ! all work, along with Enter to calculate, Backspace to delete, and Escape to clear.
