About this game
A pure logic classic. Behind the grid, mines are hidden at random. Reveal a cell and you get either a number — how many of its eight neighbours are mines — or an empty area that opens up automatically. Use the numbers to reason out which nearby cells are safe and which hold mines, flagging the mines as you go. Clear every non-mine cell to win; reveal a mine and it's game over. The first click can never be a mine, so every game is winnable from the start.
Example
A '1' with only one covered neighbour means that neighbour IS a mine — flag it. Then any other cell that already touches a flagged mine and reads '1' has all its remaining neighbours safe to open. Chaining that 'this must be a mine → these must be safe' logic clears the board without guessing.
How to play
- 1Pick a difficulty and click any cell to start — the first click is always safe.
- 2Read the numbers: each shows how many mines touch that cell.
- 3Flag cells you're sure are mines (right-click, or turn on Flag mode).
- 4Reveal every safe cell to win — without detonating a mine.

Frequently asked questions
What do the numbers mean?
A number is how many mines are in the up-to-eight cells surrounding it. A cell with no adjacent mines shows blank and auto-reveals its neighbours, opening a whole area.
Can the first click be a mine?
No. The board is generated after your first click so that cell — and its neighbours — are always safe, giving you an opening to work from.
